In contrast, countries like the United States have only banned or restricted around 30 ingredients. Canada has banned over 500. This approach has led to the EU setting some of the highest global standards for skincare and cosmetic safety.

Our Emerald Elixir is a potent blend of over 50 active ingredients, simplifying your skincare routine. This multi-tasking formula can be used as a primer, serum, moisturizer, eye treatment, neck treatment, hair oil, body oil, spot treatment, nail oil, cleanser and massage oil.

How to Use:

1. Cleanse: Start with a gentle cleanse. (You can use our Emerald Elixir to oil cleanse with.)
2. Elixir: Apply the Emerald Elixir to damp skin as needed.
3. Protect: Always finish with a broad-spectrum SPF during the day.

A Note on Minimalism: We believe in a less-is-more approach to skincare. While the Emerald Elixir is versatile, it's best to avoid layering multiple serums to preserve your skin's natural microbiome.

Clinically and dermatologically tested for all skin types, our product is proven to be safe and gentle. Free from synthetic fragrances, it's particularly well-suited for sensitive skin.

While oil-based, it benefits even oily skin types. This is because oily skin often lacks linoleic acid, a vital fatty acid. A deficiency in linoleic acid can lead to an imbalance, causing skin issues. All of our oils are cold pressed and non-comedogenic meaning they won’t clog your pores.

Our elixirs have many antioxidants in them to protect from free radicals but you should always use SPF in the day even during the winter months. Our product does protect from blue light technology thanks to upcycled bilberry extract.

It's a common question, and the answer lies in the natural ingredients used in the product. Each batch of our elixirs is as unique as you are. It is normal to find slight variation in the scent and colour of the product, due to factors such as climate, soil conditions and harvest time. These variations are normal and do not affect the product's safety or efficacy.

Typically, 5-6 drops are sufficient for the face, neck, and eye area. Always apply to damp skin for optimal absorption. For a more indulgent experience, apply more during our signature facial massage. You can reapply throughout the day for an aromatic boost.

For hair use, add a few drops to damp hair concentrating on the ends or after applying to your face use leftover elixir in the ends of the hair.

Apply on damp skin for body usage. Gua sha massage areas of cellulite if you wish.

Apply to nails & cuticles as needed.

For spot treatment apply 1 drop to targeted area and massage into clean damp skin.

Our Phyto-Mineral Concentrate is a proprietary process we use to make each elixir. Based on quantum physics and that everything is energy, it involves a time sensitive extraction process where each ingredient is hand selected and undergoes an alchemy process of nutritional and vibrational maceration. This is a lengthy process that takes place over a moon cycle (29.5 days) in a light, temperature and frequency controlled environment. This ensures all nutrients and aroma remain intact for optimal wellness.

You can keep your crystal in your bottle for your future refills. Refills do not include a crystal (but don't worry the vibrational essence of the elixir is still structured). Your crystal is there to remind you that you are a being of light and meant to shine and sparkle. The message of Emerald spirit is to open to love in all its array of colors and to become a channel for its healing powers. It activates the heart chakra, love for yourself and others.

We realize if you prefer not to get refills and want to order a new bottle each time you may end up with a lot of emeralds. You can wear them on your body, carry them in your pocket or close to your heart as they're believed to have a calming effect on your emotions. Set new intentions with them if you feel called to. Or simply thank them for their journey into your life and give them back to the earth. (Even our founder's entire yard is gridded with crystals.)

There are many ways to use a Gua Sha Crystal. This is PIPER LILY™ signature Gua Sha Massage: 

• Starting just above the collarbone, do an upwards gentle stroke to the jawline and across the jawline and back down the side of the neck. Repeat 3-5 times. 
• Hold the tool's curved edge at the centre of your chin, then sweep it along the jawline up to the ear with the same gentle pressure. 3-5 times and bring it back down the side of your neck.
•  Next lift the cheek area and place the tool at the side of your nose and glide it outwards and upward over the cheekbone stopping at the hairline and bring it down the side of your neck. Repeat 3-5 times.
• Use the smallest curve to the gua sha and gently sweep from the corner of your inner eye to the temples and bring down the side of your neck. Repeat 3-5 times. 
• Do small circles with the small part of your gua sha on your temples. With the small part of your gua sha gently stroke upwards movements in between your eyes on your third eye. Then starting at your inner brow do light strokes over your brow area to your temples. Repeat 3-5 times.
• Start in the middle of your forehead and move the tool upward to the hairline and then outward toward the temples. Repeat 3-5 times to relieve tension and smooth the forehead. 
• Bring the gua sha down the side of the neck and do 3 pumps just above your armpit. Repeat on the other side of the face. 
• Go back to any areas you feel called to but always remember to bring lymph down the side of the neck to the armpit area and pump. 
• With leftover elixir massage with fingers into face or continue with a longer massage. Make sure to drink lots of water after as gua sha manually drains sluggish lymph fluid that causes puffiness and inflammation. 
• Be sure to wash your gua sha with soap and water in between uses and place in your bag. For added cooling effect, place it in the fridge. 
• Once a month you can recharge your gua sha by putting it outside on the earth during a full moon.

Setting daily intentions during your PIPER LILY™ ritual is a beautiful way to align your mind, body and spirit for the day. Here’s a guide to creating a meaningful, mindful practice:

1. Create a Calm Space Your body has an innate sense of intuition and knows what it needs to create a calm space. Maybe dim the lights, or play relaxing music, light a candle or use a sound bowl to clear energy.
2. Grounding Breath Take a few deep breaths to settle your mind and bring awareness to the present moment. As you inhale deep from your solar plexus (stomach), feel a sense of openness and as you exhale, release any lingering tension. Focus on the present moment only.
3. Choose Your Intention Reflect on what you wish to bring into your day. Ask yourself: “What do I need today?” Your intention might be to cultivate self-compassion, embrace calmness or foster confidence. 
4. Massage with Presence and Purpose: Take the dropper and, with each drop into the palm of your clean hand, say one positive thing; for example, “I am Love, I am Light, I am Beauty, I am Strong, I am Capable,” or whatever comes to your mind. There are no right or wrong answers. You can either gua sha or use your hands to start with gentle, mindful upward strokes. As you massage each area of your face or body, focus on the intention you’ve set, repeating it silently or out loud. For example:

• For self-love: Think, “I honor myself,” as you gently press and release tension points.
• For calmness: Think, “I welcome peace into my body.”
• For energy and confidence: Say, “I am strong and capable.”

Visualize the positive energy of your intention infusing each area you touch. Thank each facial or body part for being your vessel. Your eyes for seeing the beauty all around, your mouth for allowing you to smile and laugh. Honour your sacred beauty.

5. Close with Gratitude After completing your massage, place your hands over your heart, take a final deep breath and acknowledge the care you’ve shown yourself. Reflect on your intention one last time, holding it in your mind as you move forward.

We follow IFRA guidelines for essential oils and use a very tiny amount in our products. Please consult with your doctor prior to use. Our phyto-retinol is pregnancy safe.

Keep your elixir in a cool dark place. Avoid getting water in the bottle. Never touch the glass part of the dropper to your skin to avoid contamination.

Cleansing oils are oil-based cleansers that help remove makeup, sunscreen or surface debris from the skin. Most traditional water-soluble cleaners use surfactants which allow debris to be suspended and then rinsed off with water. Instead oils in our Elixir act as solvents and function by bonding with debris on your skin which is then rinsed away with a warm wash cloth and water. 

The benefits of oil cleansing is it provides a quick and easy removal of makeup and sunscreen, leaves the skin feeling smooth and nourished especially for normal to dry skin and is compatible with other types of surfactant water based cleansers if you choose to double cleanse.

The elixir has a shelf life of 1 year if stored and used properly. The amber glass bottle will help prevent oxidation. The 5 ml bottles have a shorter shelf life due to their clear glass. We formulate in small batches for optimal freshness and quality. There is a best before date on each bottle and box. Please check and use prior to expiry.
